Caring for one another, body and soul, is a priority at First Unitarian. When a member or friend is in need of meal support, our Caring Cuisine Team, led by Patti Clark, steps in. If you’d like to be added to the meal train list, please contact Patti via email.

Outdoor Volunteer Opportunities on Church Grounds

We are looking for members and friends who enjoy the outdoors and would like to volunteer and connect with our seven (7!) acres of grounds here at First Unitarian Church. We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM to noon to maintain trails and neaten up the shade gardens. Come learn about native plants and how to identify invasives as we work to make our grounds a welcoming place for all. No prior experience required – just enthusiasm in connecting with like-minded people who find joy and peace in maintaining this special place. For more information, please call or email Megan Meyer or call 585 734-5082.

Did you know there are many opportunities here at First Unitarian to showcase your love of playing an instrument or singing? To register for any of our ensembles and classes, use this form. Please note that vaccination is highly encouraged but not required to participate. However, masking is mandatory regardless of vaccination status. Have a question? Contact Music Director Thommy Snell, or phone 585-271-9070 x110.

Excited at the thought of outdoor, in person services? So are we! But, we need your help to make them successful. Please sign up here to volunteer for a Sunday 7:30-9:30 AM shift to set up tents and chairs.

We can also use folx to help set up our AV equipment! If interested, please contact Emily Sanjanwala.
