Transgender Day of Remembrance Interfaith Service
Trans Day of Remembrance is an annual commemoration which was created over 20 years ago and recognized by a wide range of LGBTQIA+ communities across the globe. You don’t have to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community to attend; in fact, it’s very meaningful to have support from people who aren’t LGBTQIA+ themselves.
The service will begin at 4:00 pm at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, in the Lodge. Also streaming live via Zoom.
COVID protocols will be followed for the indoor portion, and online access is available. We kindly ask that all attendees wear face masks indoors, even if vaccinated
The service will be followed by a candlelight vigil at Liberty Pole hosted by Rochester Black Pride.
