Literature and Visual Arts (LAVA) – Friday, November 12 at 7:00 PM online

The “Rochester Reads” program, which encourages our community to discuss a selected book each year, has chosen Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer as this year’s book. The author is a professor of Environmental Biology and a member of the Potawatomi Nation. Our church’s LAVA book group will discuss this book via Zoom at 7:00 PM on November 12.
