Embracing Rochester’s Black History with Verdis Robinson

Part 1 of 3 events benefiting the creation of a Rochester Civil Rights History Site in Baden Park, local Historian Verdis Robinson will shine a light on the details about the lives and times of those African American citizens who made contributions to the development of a major American city, dating back to the early 19th century.

This will be a virtual Zoom presentation starting at 7:00 PM. The program is sponsored by Spiritus Christi Anti-Racism Coalition (SPARC), the First Universalist Church FIRE Team and the FirstĀ  Unitarian Church. Donations gratefully accepted. Proceeds from the program will support the development of the Rochester Civil Rights Heritage Site, which will be built in Baden Park.
