December’s Special Events!

Greater Good - December 13

First Unitarian has a meaningful way to help you escape the madness and consumerism of the holiday season: The Greater Good Project. By giving half of what you might spend on Christmas gifts, decorations, and celebrations to the Greater Good appeal, you can make a significant difference in the lives of some of our neighbors. Our children voted for 2 local organizations to share this year’s Greater Good donations.

The Worker Justice Center, will collaborate with Mujeres Divinas to bring a leadership development and self-advocacy program to a group of women farm workers in the Rochester area.

The second local organization is City Roots Community Land Trust (CRLT), which operates several unique programs for individuals and families who lack housing.
