Membership at First Unitarian Church is a journey. It starts with an inclusive welcome of all of you who enter our doors. Our Sunday Hospitality team consists of parking attendants, greeters, ushers, and welcome table volunteers - all are here to ensure that your Sunday morning experience begins on a high note.

We encourage you to continue the journey with orientation sessions which will introduce you to Unitarian Universalism and the programs of our church. Exploring a small group will deepen your connection to others, as well as to the important work of our congregation. We're here to help you find the right match.

Another step in the journey is to find your passion with us. Which of our ministries offers the best fit for your gifts and talents? Pick up a "Volunteer and Service Opportunities" brochure at the literature rack in the lobby.

Social activities are important in building our community. From zip code dinners to song circles, you're invited to enjoy yourself and meet new friends. Be sure to heck out our Friday Fun activities posted on the Membership Bulletin Board in the lobby and also highlighted in each newsletter.

Perhaps your journey will eventually lead you to contemplate membership in First Unitarian Church. If so, we hope you will attend The Meaning of Membership, led by one of our ministers. If you decide to join us, our entire congregation will celebrate with you in our New Member Welcome Ceremony.

Even then, your journey is far from over. We are an ever-changing community that will continue to offer new opportunities to nurture yourself and help heal our world.
