First Muse presents Jon Manasse and the Amenda Quartet: Brahms and Bartók on Sunday, April 9 at 7:30pm. Clarinetist Jon Manasse (Eastman and Julliard faculty) will join the Amenda Quartet for the rich, romantic Quintet for Clarinet and Strings by Johannes Brahms. Filling out the evening are the jovial Italian Serenade of Hugo Wolf and the stunning Second String Quartet of Béla Bartók – you’ll want to be in the hall to feel the energy of live chamber music! Tickets ($5 / $10 / $20) are available at the door, as well as after church services on Sunday, April 2; Saturday, April 8; and Sunday, April 9. Twenty-five percent of ticket revenue is donated directly to UU/Schools Partnership. For more information, go to www.firstmuse.org.
