Denominational Affairs

First Unitarian of Rochester is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), headquartered in Boston MA, and of the St. Lawrence District (SLD) of the UUA, headquartered in Buffalo. Members of our congregation have served on the UUA Board, on the District Board, and on various UUA and SLD committees. The Denominational Affairs Committee recruits members to attend denominational business meetings as delegates or observers. There are also District workshops held from time to time around the state in areas of interest, such as social justice, religious education, worship and the arts. The District website and calendar lists these events, and they are featured in our newsletter.
